VIVID SYDNEY 2025 CELEBRATES 'DREAM' Networking RECEPTION

Vivid Sydney is an annual celebration of creativity, innovation and technology. 

Transforming Sydney for 23 days and nights, in 2025 for its 15th year, Vivid Sydney will fuse art, innovation and technology in collaboration with some of the most boundary-pushing artists, musicians, thinkers and culinary experts of our time. 

Vivid Sydney is owned, managed and produced by Destination NSW, the NSW Government's tourism and major events agency.

This year Vivid Sydney's theme is  ‘Dream'.

At this networking reception, kindly hosted by Crown Sydney in the CIRQ rooftop bar with spectacular views, Stanford Le, Crown Sydney's CEO, introduced Vivid's Festival Director, Gill Minervini. Gill gave a passionate update on this year's program highlights and outlined how Vivid dreams are expressed through light, music, ideas and food in the most beautiful and inspirational city in the world. 

Following Gill's presentation, Karen Jones, Destination NSW's Acting CEO, facilitated an insightful Q&A with: 

• The Hon. Kristina Keneally, CEO of Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, 2025 Vivid Sydney charity partner
• Neil Perry AM, Australian celebrity chef, and
• Danielle Alvarez, Culinary Director of Events, Sydney Opera House

As this is Gill Minervini's last Vivid Sydney as Festival Director, Paul Nicolaou presented her with a Sydney Champion Award, along with Lyn Lewis-Smith, CEO of Business Events Sydney, prior to her departure from the organisation later this year.
