Sydney continues to confront a critical housing shortage, and it was clear from our recent lunch – Unlocking Australia’s Housing Future that meaningful, solutions-driven dialogue is more important than ever. 

With over 60 business leaders in attendance, the event was a tremendous success and reinforced the urgency of accelerating housing supply across our city and nation.

Hosted by Business Sydney in conjunction with Hall & Wilcox, the lunch brought together leaders from government, industry, and the property sector for a constructive and forward-focused discussion on one of Australia’s most pressing challenges.

We were honoured to hear from our keynote speaker, Scott Langford, Chief Executive Officer, Housing Australia, who provided valuable insights into the national policy framework shaping housing supply, as well as the ambitious construction targets being pursued across both state and federal levels.
