As Sydney welcomes visitors to our wonderful city from near and far for the peak tourism season, Business Sydney and Big Splash Media, in conjunction with the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, hosted a special event celebrating the first birthday of the Sydney Travel Guide – a publication fast becoming essential to a great visitor experience. 

Joining us to mark the celebration, along with Peter Lynch and the Big Splash media team, was the Hon. John Graham MLC, NSW Minister for Arts, NSW Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy, and NSW Minister for Jobs and Tourism. 

Big Splash Media’s Sydney Travel Guide is playing a vital role in achieving Sydney’s aim of welcoming visitors with information to make the most of our city’s many attractions. Our guests enjoyed celebrating this important milestone, with opening remarks from Suzanne Cotter, Director, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, and vote of thanks by Sally Loane, Chair, Destination NSW.

After the reception, the Minister, Suzanne, Sally & Peter joined our Executive Director, Paul Nicolaou and the CEO of the NSW Taxi Council, Nick Abrahim for photos with Sydney taxi driver, Fatique. Sydney's taxis are proud to carry the Sydney Travel Guide in cabs allowing taxi drivers to showcase our wonderful city to its tourists.
