This morning tea came from a basic premise — that hundreds of people shouldn’t be in a desperate position where they must resort to sleeping rough on the street. 

Working cooperatively with community and government agencies, Sydney Zero has developed a coordinated care program designed to make rough sleeping rare, brief and non-recurring. 

Joining us to address this issue was Alex Greenwich MP, State Member for Sydney, and Dr Gregory Smith OAM representing Sydney Zero who has himself navigated the homelessness journey to become an advocate for those sleeping rough.

Included in the panel discussion, facilitated by Business Sydney's David Jones, was Nada Nasser from Mission Australia.
