NETWORKING LUNCH | WITH THE HON ED HUSIC MP

This event comes at a time when the Australian economy is encountering significant headwinds in a difficult international environment.

At this networking lunch, Minister Husic addressed how innovation will address the challenges and set Australia up for a positive future. He spoke about the current landscape for science and innovation in Australia including AI for business and touched on the National Innovation Visa and his recent announcements in his portfolio.  

After his address, the Minister sat down to an interesting panel discussion facilitated by Professor Stephen Rodda, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Industry & Innovation), University of NSW and Dr Sandra Peter, Director, Sydney Executive Plus, The University of Sydney Business School & Associate Professor, University of Sydney, who is an expert in AI and in corporate upskilling for business leaders through AI fluency.
