At this lunch with Dr Andrew Charlton MP, we heard Dr Charlton's perspectives as the Federal Member for Parramatta and from the Rebuilding Employment Services report released last November by the House of Representative Select Committee on Workforce Australia Employment Services on the current state of Australia's labour market.

Indeed's Senior Economist, Callam Pickering, then unveiled new insights on reshaping Australia’s workforce landscape, and outlined the opportunities for business to tap into underutilised segments of the labour market.

Finally, a panel discussion led by Laura Ford, Managing Director, Indeed with Dr Andrew Charlton MP, Natalie Turmine, CEO, Service and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) and Callam Pickering,  addressed key topics on the future of work, strategies for businesses to attract hidden talent, and ways to tackle key skills shortages.

Grant Saxon, Managing Partner of BDO's Sydney office moved the vote of thanks on behalf of the 100 guests who attended.
