Business Sydney in conjunction with MinterEllison celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 under the theme, For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.

At this lunch, we heard from our keynote speaker, Zali Steggall OAM MP, Federal Member for Warringah and Olympic Medallist, on her experiences as a woman in politics and her time as an athlete and Winter Olympian. 

Following Ms Steggall’s address, she was joined by an inspiring panel of business leaders who are creating positive impacts for the status and inclusion of women, both in the corporate world and in everyday life. Joining Ms Steggall were ️Linda Scott, Chair, CareSuper , ️Virginia Briggs, Chief Executive Officer &  Managing Partner, MinterEllison and ️Sally Loane, Chair, Destination NSW. 

Princess Ventura, Regional Director, Urbis, moved the vote of thanks.

Over 100 business leaders were in attendance and all greatly appreciated the opportunity meet Zali and the esteemed panel.
