At this lunch, Business Sydney, Sydney Festival and Airbnb collaborated to for the launch of Sydney Festival 2025.

Sydney Festival is one of Australia’s largest international arts festivals, attracting the world’s best talent to our stunning harbour city. The buzz of summer wouldn’t be the same without the Festival’s spectacular theatre, music, dance, visual-art and live events splashed across Sydney each January.

At this exciting launch, we were pleased to welcome Her Excellency, the Hon. Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Patron of Sydney Festival, and the Hon John Graham MLC, NSW Minister for the Arts, Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy, and Minister for Jobs and Tourism, were our special guests.

Following remarks from the NSW Governor and Minister Graham, Festival Director, Olivia Ansell, provided an overview of the 2025 program.

Guests were entertained by an exclusive performance from the program, featuring a special preview from the centrepiece show of Sydney Festival 2025, Siegfried and Roy, The Unauthorised Opera, which tells the rags to riches story of the highest-paid magic act in Las Vegas history.
