Business Sydney in partnership with Burwood Council and Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood launched the Burwood Investment & Visitation Prospectus, with over 100 business leaders attending to celebrate Burwood’s evolution as one of our city’s most dynamic and culturally vibrant destinations.

The event underscored why Burwood, recently named one of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods, continues to grow as a powerhouse of multicultural dining, nightlife, investment, and community activity.

This Prospectus is a major step forward in bringing statewide priorities to life at the local level. It provides a clear roadmap for strategic growth, visitor experiences, public domain upgrades, and strong pathways for private sector investment all essential to strengthening Burwood’s position as Sydney’s Cultural Playground.

We were honoured to hear from the NSW Minister for Jobs & Tourism, The Hon. Steve Kamper MP, who shared valuable insights on the government’s commitment to supporting the visitor economy and fostering thriving local centres across Greater Sydney.
