At this reception, Treasurer Mookhey gave his insights on the work of the Minns Government in supporting businesses, reflecting on their achievements so far and the Government’s plans for 2024.

Lyall Gorman, President, Business NSW spoke about the importance of empathy and being kind, especially during difficult times and Nola Watson, Board Member, Business NSW moved the vote of thanks.

Business Sydney also supported the Big Issue and it's vendors, including Denise, who attended the reception and presented the Treasurer with a magazine. There was also an opportunity to find out more about the charity that supports Sydney's homeless and buy the latest Big Issue edition. 

Cindy Carpenter, Chair of The Bread and Butter Project, Australia’s first social enterprise bakery, presented the Treasurer with homemade mince pies.
