Business Sydney and Australian Made Campaign Limited hosted an exclusive breakfast that shone a spotlight on Australian Made Week, Australian manufacturing and a Future Made in Australia.
The only innovation of its kind, Australian Made Week is a multi-channel campaign that calls on consumers to actively focus their buying activities on genuine Aussie products, while celebrating and supporting local makers and growers around the country.
Off the back of this year’s Federal Budget, guests heard from Senator the Hon. Tim Ayres, Assistant Minister for Trade, Assistant Minister for Manufacturing, on the importance of a Future Made in Australia and why manufacturing locally is so important.
Our panel on the day also featured Australian Made Chair, Kate Carnell AO, Ian Quarrie, Executive General Manager, Transport, UGL and Amelia Taylor, Head of Product and Marketing, Wynstan.
