BOOK LAUNCH - AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP: THE RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF BETTER

At this reception, Business Sydney, hosted the launch of Sassoon Grigorian’s new book, Authentic Leadership: The Relentless Pursuit of Better. 

Sassoon is Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Salesforce, and his career has taken him from advising premiers in government to the top of global tech. 

Sassoon was joined by Steve Vamos, April Palmerlee and Dr Nicholas Pappas AM, with the discussion on leadership, wonderfully facilitated by Arminé Nalbandian.

A few key messages from the panel discussion:

• Trust is built through consistency. Do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it.
• “Go to the fire.” Step forward when challenges arise, take responsibility and support your people.
• Lead with kindness and humility. Hold people accountable while preserving their dignity and helping them improve.
• Have the courage to make difficult decisions. Listen, exercise judgement and own the outcome.
• Take responsibility for change. As AI reshapes our workplaces, leaders remain accountable for decisions and outcomes.
