For the second year, Business Sydney proudly supported the NSW Police Force in their 2025 Bleed4Blue campaign.

Several of Sydney's business leaders joined our Executive Director, Paul Nicolaou and Sydney Police Commander, Martin Fileman APM, along with other members of the NSW Police Force at Lifeblood Town Hall in Sydney, to give blood and plasma. 

Bleed4Blue campaign is a friendly contest with police forces around the country and a catalyst for thousands of donations of blood and plasma to Lifeblood. 

It’s humbling to know that Bleed4Blue was inspired by the experience of retired NSW Detective John Breda, who, in 2018 in the line of duty, was stabbed during the arrest of an alleged offender. 

It is so typical that our police support the community they serve by donating blood and plasma and encourage people to give.
