Business Sydney, in partnership with Clayton Utz, proudly hosted a special event to launch Australia: A History, the much-anticipated new book by The Hon. Tony Abbott AC, former Prime Minister of Australia.

In this landmark work, Mr Abbott offers a sweeping narrative of our nation’s journey — from its ancient origins to the defining challenges and achievements that have shaped modern Australia. The book accompanies the acclaimed three-part documentary series of the same name, recently aired on Sky News Australia and now available on subscription.

Guests enjoyed thoughtful remarks from Mr Abbott, followed by an engaging and insightful Q&A led by Margaret Cunneen SC, who explored the ideas, themes and inspirations behind both the book and the documentary.

It was a lively and reflective discussion about Australia’s past, present, and the choices that will chart our future.
