'A GRATEFUL SON' book reception

At this reception, Business Sydney and Clayton Utz, hosted a Sydney Business reception for the Hon Josh Frydenberg's memoir, "A Grateful Son". 

The evening brought together business leaders for a conversation exploring the Hon. Josh Frydenberg’s personal journey, political career and the defining moments that have shaped his life and leadership.

We were pleased to hear from Dr Ashley Tsacalos, Partner, Clayton Utz, who welcomed guests, and Alex Ryvchin, Co-CEO, Executive Council of Australian Jewry, who introduced Josh Frydenberg.

In his address, The Hon. Josh Frydenberg reflected on his experience steering Australia through the unprecedented challenges of a global pandemic, his advocacy against antisemitism and hate, and the lessons of leadership and public life in an increasingly divided world, while highlighting the unique promise and potential of Australia.

A highlight of the evening was an engaging fireside conversation between Josh Frydenberg and Claire Lehmann, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Quillette, exploring the people, experiences and defining moments behind A Grateful Son. The discussion was followed by an insightful Q&A with guests.
