National Skills Week is an initiative of SkillsOne. Now moving into its 13th year, National Skills Week set out to bring to life the positive messages, highlighting the talents, the skills, the career pathways and the value of apprentices and trainees across Australia to the wider public and employers.
Guests heard from the Hon Prue Car MP, Deputy Premier, Minister for Education and Early Learning, Minister for Western Sydney, and Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education, Mr David Collins PSM, Executive Director Training Services NSW, NSW Department of Education (Master of Ceremonies); Mr Brian Wexham, Chair National Skills Week and CEO SkillsOne Television; two diverse panels of NSW Training Award Winners including VET Teachers and students plus employers and parents speaking on Skills future, initiatives, and programs to meet the needs of industry, moderated by Paul Nicolaou, Executive Director, Business Sydney.
