Business Sydney official launch by the NSW treasurer

Business Sydney was officially launched at a cocktail event with NSW Treasurer. Special thanks to the Hon. Dominic Perrottet MP, his fellow parliamentarians and our  industry leading members for attending  the official launch celebrating our history and future.

The Treasurer spoke of our near 200 year history as the voice for business in Sydney and the work we continue doing in shaping the bright future of our great city.

Getting the CBD pumping again and driving a 24-hour economy feature among the projects we are heavily involved in, including our input to the Treasurer’s Sydney CBD Summit on the morning after our launch.

The Hon. Dominic Perrottet MP is the Treasurer in the New South Wales Government, and the Member for Epping in the NSW Parliament.

Dominic was re-appointed Treasurer and Deputy Leader of the NSW Liberal Party in March 2019 following the re-election of the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government. He was first appointed Treasurer and Deputy Leader in January 2017, having previously served as Minister for Finance and Services from April 2014, and then Minister for Finance, Services and Property from April 2015.
